 Weekend warriors!

The new white extended goal posts, with the wind ribbons on top, made their first appearance today.

It took a little time to make sure everything was set correctly.

The gooseneck base to the goal posts at the west end was in place. Meanwhile, excavation of that end of the field was on-going, while the final 23 bags of rubber still remained to be put on the field.

This end of the field will be paved and then have a layer of track material applied. This is where the high jump will be contested, at the opposite end of the stadium from where it had been done.

The walkway near the light poles was finished. This had been left uncovered while electrical conduit was run to the poles.

The excess turf had been trimmed all the way around the concrete curb and along the long jump runway and pit in the east end of the field.

From a 50-yard line seat in the home grandstand, a view of the field looking toward the east end zone.

And the view looking toward the west end zone.
