JULY 9, 2008 - Late
 What's in a name!

Lettering was laid out in the west end zone toward the end of the day.
"Blue Devils" will grace the east end zone.

Strings were used to "square up" the letters and get them aligned properly across the end zone.

Using the string as a guideline the letters were each carefully put in their places, then tacked down to first act as a template for cutting out their spots.

In just a short time, a generic-looking surface became inherently "Zanesville." The workers then ended their workday, leaving the more difficult tasks of cutting and gluing for the next day.
