The new concrete walkway was mostly installed today. Two areas at each end are being left undone for now, allowing for installation of underground electrical work to provide power to the new light towers.
This new walkway will also prevent the erosion that plagued the old track, and make it much safer for everyone.

Meanwhile, work continued on the field drainage system. Here workers are laying down a fabric in one of the lateral trenches cutting across the field.
The lateral drainage pipes will feed into the much larger pipe installed earlier this week along the visitors sideline.
One of the completed laterals is seen in the foreground. In the background, a worker begins excavating another line across the field.
Things happen sometimes. A small mishap caused a couple cracks in the long jump landing pit curbing. Workers had to cut out the damaged areas and replace them.
