MAY 13, 2008  More excavation! The concrete curb along the inside of the track was almost fully removed by mid-day. Dirt was taken away while the curb removal process continued. Excavators took the extra dirt to the Clearview Street (visitors sideline) side of the field. The combination runway for both pole vault and long jump along the home sideline was removed. All that remained was the landing pit sand for the long jump. A brief break while extracting the concrete curb. |
