MAY 12, 2008  Moving mud! A bulldozer peeled back the turf alongside the track, so that removal of the concrete curb could be done. A small backhoe carefully pawed at the concrete curb to remove it. More work removing the concrete track curb. Excavators uncovered one of the concrete bases for the old light standards and found a whole lot of concrete! The base went underground about three more feet, and there was more concrete below that. |
