 More field preparations!

The Stadium scoreboard and a nearby 35-second play clock, prior to their removal.

The play clock is secured for unbolting and removal.

Workers prepare to take down the scoreboard. The new scoreboard will be placed approximately where
the coach's tower is located at left.

The blue border surrounding the scoreboard had to be removed first.

The "ZHS BLUE DEVILS" banner is loosened from the scoreboard.

The sign across the top of the scoreboard is lifted away.

The sign, as well as the famous neon Devils logo, will be kept.

The message board is disconnected.

All that was left of the old scoreboard at the end of the day.

Meanwhile, workers were also busy cutting the concrete berm along the inside of the track.

Some cuts were also made across the track at various points.

Workers place a line on the outside of the track in front of the main
grandstand, preparing to make another cut.
